Yes divx is the best codec I know. Much better then flash. I am very sad that some people do not try divx and stay with flash. Most fear a computervirus, if they asked to download the plugin. But there is nothing to fear. I was a former stage6 user, but they shut down the page. We were contected with 5700 people about food..:-)
If you want to transfer your videos to divx, export your file from the editing system in the best quality. (Final Cut pro has a direct divx exportfunction) For anything else get the software "Dr. Divx". You can get it on http://labs.divx.com/DrDivX Then you have to find a place, where you can host the files. I use http://www.blip.tv They transfer the file to flash, but keep the divx-file. So you can embed the video from there.
Thanks for your feedback. I will have a look. You are also welcome as ning-member sign in here or at greatcooks and join my group: Charlottenburg Cuisine there!

You can not see this video? You need to install the plugin from DIVX. Do not worry and hesitate to do so! You will love the quality...:-)
We recently embedded on my food tube page CHARLOTTENBURG CUISINE EPISODE 13:
This dinner is a little bit more elaborate, but worth the effort. Todays appetizer is a sunchoke soup with wild-boar smoked ham. As a main dish we serve slow cooked beefshoulder with potato-truffle mash and we finish the meal with a mangoparfait on rasberry mousse. Our wine recommendation for this menu is the 2005 „Cuvée Cecile“ from the vineyard Grand Bourjassot.
